FG Wilson Dealers host power solutions seminar for Consulting Engineers

In May 2011, FG Wilson's Power Solutions Team, alongside local Dealers FGW FZE and Ateco, conducted a series of technical seminars in the Middle East aimed at consulting engineers. FG Wilson Dealers are continuously building on the value they offer to this sector of the market. They have the expertise and resource to support Consultants from the initial design of customized power solutions through to installation.

These seminars provided an opportunity to not only form new relationships with consultants in the Middle East but to develop those we have already formed over the years.

Our main seminar took place at the Meridien Hotel in Abu Dhabi with over 120 guests in attendance.

Delegates received a brief overview of FG Wilson before moving on to the core technical focus of the evening. Topics particularly relevant to the Middle East, such as High Voltage Alternators and High Ambient Cooling Systems, were covered in the technical presentations.

To end the evening, a buffet dinner was served in the hotel garden, providing further opportunity for discussion with consultants on up and coming developments in the region.

We are delighted with the delegates' assessment of this seminar. The overwhelming majority, when surveyed, found the event very useful with the appropriate level of technical information.

The visit has helped to raise the profile of FG Wilson and its Dealers among key consultants and contractors in the Middle East. This will no doubt result in continued success in Solutions business for our Dealers in this region.

Amper 2011 Exhibition

Pevot s.r.o., our Dealer in the Czech Republic, recently had a stand at the annual 4-day Amper 2011 exhibition held in Brno.

This year, the well established annual exhibition for Electronics, Electrotechnics and Energy sectors, was held in a bigger and better venue than in previous years, allowing 580 exhibitors from the Czech Republic and 24 other countries to attend.

Pevot's stand, with FG Wilson 26 - 200 kVA product displayed, stood out from the rest and effectively promoted both the FG Wilson and Pevot brands.

Over 40,000 visitors, including project managers; general construction contractors; and planners and developers passed through the doors. The Pevot stand attracted 50 of those visitors per day.

Pevot are pleased with the results generated through this event. Jan Petr, Junior Sales Manager in Pevot commented: "Around a third of the specific project enquiries we received relate to ongoing projects in various stages and the genset supplier should be chosen in the coming weeks."

Overall, Amper 2011 was very successful for Pevot - we wish them luck in converting those enquiries into profitable contracts.
