Power Electrics Generators has recently installed a standby generator at RWE npower's Didcot B Combined Cycle Gas Turbine Power Station. Rated at 1850kVA the containerised system will provide standby power for Essential Station Services.
The FG Wilson Prime rated standby generator system was housed in a high specification - 65dBA @ 1m container package which was built to the client's exacting standards. The generator utilised a client specified ComAp InteliSys controller with G59 mains synchronising and site specific earth leakage controls. The project also included the installation of a 20,000 ltr bunded fuel tank.
